Do I need to provide API keys?
No. The app only needs the scopes Shopify grants during install (read_products, read_metaobjects). It does not require OpenAI, Google, or Perplexity API keys—the probes run server-side using public model interfaces.
Do you store or share customer data?
No. The app uses read-only scopes only (read_products, read_metaobjects) and never accesses customer information or order data. It syncs your product catalog via webhooks to build your Fix List, but does not store PII. Full GDPR compliance webhooks are built in.
Which AI engines does the app track?
We track three engines: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Google Gemini, and Perplexity. Each month, the app sends 3 sample queries per engine and records whether your store appears in the top results.
How is share-of-voice measured?
SOV = (number of samples citing your brand) / (total samples across all engines). The calculation is sample-weighted. For example: if ChatGPT mentions you in 2 out of 3 samples and Gemini in 0 out of 3, your blended SOV is 33.3%. Per-engine breakdowns are shown separately.
How many competitors can I track?
Free: 1. Growth: 3. Scale: 5. You choose competitors during onboarding and can update them anytime in Settings.
What are custom probe queries?
Custom probe queries let you test category-specific keywords beyond the defaults. Growth includes 5; Scale includes 20; Agency includes 50. Each query that runs in a month consumes 1 query-month of your monthly budget.
How often does data refresh?
SOV snapshots are monthly by default. Scale and Agency tiers are planned for weekly snapshots in a future release.
Is there a limit to how long I can keep history?
Yes, by plan: Free: 1 period. Growth: 3 periods (~last quarter). Scale: 12 periods (1 year). Agency: Unlimited. Downgrading does not delete your data—excess periods are hidden until you upgrade again.
Can I export my data?
CSV export of citation logs is available on Scale and Agency plans only. This export includes the raw AI answers tied to your SOV measurements, ready for board reports or competitive intelligence.
